After enjoying the marvelous architecture of Taj Mahal, take a long drive to Khajuraho. It is situated 393 kms away from Agra and is the most celebrated travel destination in Madhya Pradesh (Central India) is. The Eastern Groups:

This group of temples mainly highlights Jainism. Parsvanath Temple, Adinath Temple, Santinath Temple, Ghantai Temple, Javari Temple are a few to name. Pilgrims here can spot statues and images of Jain Tirthankaras and stone sikhara, made of granite.

The Western Groups:

The Laksman Temple, Varaha Temple, Kandariya Mahadeva Temple, Jagadambi Temple, Chitragupta Temple, Vishvanatha Temple and Chausat Yogini Temple form the temple religious circuit in Western direction. It is the largest of all groups and the architectural splendors are above all in the whole world. A visit here offers the closest view of carved out sculptures of Lord Krishna, Lord Vishnu and several other images, relating to God and Goddesses.

The Southern Groups:

The Chaturbhuja Temple and Duladeo temple constitutes the southern group. The later was the last temple built during the era.
